Amanda is a first-generation Canadian woman who leads by action, breaking barriers and fostering change. With an Honours degree in Philosophy and a Business minor from the University of Calgary, she began in marketing and business development before pivoting to law. She earned her law degree from the University of Southampton and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2020.
Her legal practice focuses on Family, Employment, and Civil litigation, with a passion for supporting marginalized voices. While studying in England, she worked with the EU on animal welfare and helped raise $25 million for Alberta’s Oil Sands investor group while overseeing the legal issues of the matter. Her business insight strengthens her ability to serve clients effectively.
Beyond law, Amanda co-founded FuckUp Nights YYC, which resilience when faced with obstacles surrounding failure and making connections within Calgary’s entrepreneurial/ CEO community. She is a founding partner of Café Alchemist, inspired by global travels and also serves on the CICBA board, advocating for economic growth and housing solutions.
Despite a busy career, Amanda cherishes time with her family, especially her adventurous daughter. A thrill-seeker at heart, she enjoys skydiving and traveling, embodying a fearless approach to life.
