Before embarking on his legal career, Mani earned a degree in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and gained valuable experience as a compensation analyst. This background has proven invaluable in navigating complex legal issues, particularly those requiring a deep understanding of finance and accounting.
Mani has developed a comprehensive knowledge across a diverse range of legal areas, including Civil Litigation, Family Law, Real Estate, Immigration, and Wills & Estates. This broad experience has equipped him with a well-rounded understanding of the law, enabling him to adeptly handle matters of varying complexity.
Currently, Mani’s primary focus lies in the practice of Family Law, although he continues to assist clients with Wills and Refugee matters. He has represented clients in all levels of the court in Alberta, including the Court of Justice, Court of King’s Bench, and Court of Appeal. Mani has also secured numerous successful outcomes before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and the Immigration Appeal Division. Additionally, he maintains a mediation practice in Family Law, helping parties reach amicable resolutions and minimizing the potential for prolonged conflict.
Mani’s approach to legal matters emphasizes prioritizing out-of-court settlements, recognizing that litigation can often result in undesirable long-term consequences.
